Volunteer Opportunities

New Hounds Arriving Soon!

• Dog day is scheduled for January 13th, and we’re seeking foster homes! Please consider opening your home to recent retirees as they await their forever homes.  Food, crates, collars and any necessary medical supplies are provided. • Over the course of 2017, Royal Hounds has placed over 50 greyhounds! Nothing makes us happier than finding a hound their forever home and we ask for your help to keep up this work. This holiday season we a asking for monetary donations to help offset the medical expenses of our fosters.  Please see our Ways to Help page for our donation link and mailing address, as well as a host of other ways to help the hounds!  We would also appreciate non monetary items including blankets, towels, sheets, etc. for the kennels.  For a full list of items and the address to send them too please see the Almost Home for Hounds site.
  
  
• Can’t foster, but want to help on Dog Day? Let us know if you’re willing to help with the multitude of tasks that day: corralling the pups, scooping, selling, photographing, etc. For more information, or to volunteer, please contact [email protected].

• We are still seeking volunteers to join the Royal Hounds Board of Directors. Applicants must be committed to attending monthly meetings and duties as assigned. For more information please contact [email protected].
